Canyon Grizl Carbon Wheels: Can You Fit 10PLUS?
The Grizl is built for wide tyres and rough surfaces. Here's where the 10PLUS gravel range fits in.
First: identify your exact Grizl
Canyon sells the Grizl in several trims and model years, so the name alone doesn't pin down the wheel spec. Check your bike's model year, current wheels and cassette before ordering.
The 10PLUS range covers the common modern disc standards, as long as you choose the right configuration.
Axles
The standard disc setup across the 10PLUS range is 12x100mm front and 12x142mm rear. Confirm that on your Grizl before anything else.
Don't order from the bike's name alone — specs can change from one model year to the next.
Rotors and freehub
The 10PLUS wheels covered here use Center Lock rotors and come with Shimano HG, Shimano Micro Spline or SRAM XDR freehubs. Match the wheel to the hardware already on the bike.
Many 1x gravel builds use Micro Spline or XDR cassettes rather than HG, so read the exact cassette model before choosing. The cassette decides the freehub; the rotor interface decides the rotor fit.
Rim width and tyres
The Grizl is designed around wide tyres, so the Gravel range is the obvious match. The Gravel T Series is 25mm internal at 38mm depth and 24mm at 45mm — noticeably wider than the 21mm Road T Series.
Make sure your tyre width sits inside the tyre maker's approved range for those rims.
Our 10PLUS recommendation
For the Canyon Grizl, match your axle, rotor and cassette standards first. Once those line up, the Gravel T Series 38mm is our value default.
Step up to the E Series if lower weight, ceramic bearings and 45T engagement are priorities. If you're unsure which Grizl you have, confirm the spec before you click buy.
